Band

The Summerdale School Band program is open to students in grades 6–8 and provides a structured environment for musical growth and performance. Beginner Band is offered exclusively to 6th-grade students, where they learn the fundamentals of music, instrument technique, and ensemble playing. As students advance, they may join the Concert Band in 7th and 8th grades, performing at school and community events throughout the year. The program promotes discipline, teamwork, and creativity while encouraging a lifelong appreciation for music.
