National Junior Honor Society

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) at Summerdale School honors students in grades 7–8 who exemplify the core values of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. Membership is awarded to students who maintain strong academic performance while actively contributing to their school and community. NJHS members engage in service projects, leadership opportunities, and school improvement initiatives, developing the skills and habits needed for future academic and personal success. The organization encourages students to be positive role models and responsible leaders both on campus and beyond.
